A new CDC Climate and Health training course, developed by the CDC, CDC Foundation, and NORC at the University of Chicago, is designed for any public health professional working in a state, tribal, local, or territorial health department. It focuses on ways climate change impacts health and how to integrate climate change considerations into existing public health work. This training is divided into four modules, which include an introduction to climate and health, approaches for integrating climate change into health department activities, tools and examples to help health departments build climate resilience, and links to existing resources for more information.
