This RAND Corporation website provides information, toolkits, trainings, and examples of community resilience to help individuals and community organizations prepare for, withstand, and recover from disasters. These tools and trainings emphasize the importance of involving vulnerable and at-risk populations, including people with disabilities, in resilience building efforts. This website includes a toolkit for educating the community about resilience, a resilience skill development guide for high school youth, an online multimedia training for building resilient communities, and examples and tools from the Los Angeles County Community Disaster Resilience Project, such as the Resilience Builder Toolkit, Community Resilience Workplan, and community resilience measures.
