This tool was developed by the University of Kansas and deals with changing the physical and social character of communities. This tool provides background information, videos, and suggestions for making community changes that ensure that people with disabilities have physical access to buildings and other spaces that are used by the public, as well as changes to ensure their access to employment, services, education, the functions of government, and full civic participation. Accessibility: This website is generally accessible using a screen reader, but some images do not have alternate text descriptions and navigation may be confusing at times. Videos are provided with the option of closed captioning.
