This resource was developed by the State of Alaska Health and Disability Program to help people with disabilities prepare for emergencies. This toolkit discusses different disaster scenarios and how to prepare for them, acknowledges that people with disabilities have diverse needs and that no one plan fits all, discusses strategies for people with different types of disabilities, and provides a template for making a personal preparedness plan, emergency supply kit, and go-bag.
