This tool was developed by the National Center on Health, Physical Activity and Disability (NCHPAD) and the Center on Disability at the Public Health Institute to increase the inclusion of people with disabilities in community health programs and policies. The nine guidelines for disability inclusion were generated based upon previously recommended guidelines and structured input and review from a panel of national experts. Rationale, strategies, and examples are provided for each guideline. Accessibility: This PDF is generally accessible using a screen reader or Read Out Loud, however most images do not have alternate text descriptions.
