Infection Prevention Training Activity: Clean Stations = Safe...

To strengthen infection control practices in long-term care facilities and foster a culture of health and safety, Summit County Public Health launched the “Clean Stations Equal Safe Patients” Challenge - a friendly competition between nurses stations. This initiative builds on the foundational training from the CDC’s Project Firstline, specifically the Nurses Station Interactive Scenario.

After completing the CDC training, staff will apply their knowledge by actively identifying and addressing infection risks at their nurses stations. Through peer accountability and a bit of healthy competition, the goal is to turn infection control from a checklist into a shared responsibility and everyday habit.
