This poster presentation developed by the World Health Organization on "Intersectoral Action on Health in Urban Settings - Liverpool Active City 2005 - 2010" provides an overview of health in all policies. It provides examples of the work Liverpool has done with local communities, local community based organizations, businesses, health services, sports and recreations departments, education departments, park districts, and transport providers to address the issue of obesity. It includes evaluation data demonstrating the initiative's success and also provides lessons learned. For local communities that are looking to promote their success in health in all policies, this poster presentation can serve as one example of how they might present their success story at meetings and conferences.
