The Miami-Dade Enhanced Comprehensive HIV Prevention Plan (ECHPP) aims to reduce new HIV infections, increase access to care and improve health outcomes for people living with HIV/AIDS, reduce HIV-related disparities, and provide a more coordinated response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Miami-Dade County. The ECHPP focuses on key target areas of the county with the highest incidence of HIV/AIDS, while also taking into account special populations. The plan also provides a situational analysis which details gaps and barriers in services for the county.
