This fact sheet describes how Nation Prevention Strategy (NPS)can support LHDs in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of integrated chronic disease prevention efforts with specific recommendations and actions for carrying out NPS Strategic Directions and Priorities. There are many simliarities between NPS and HiAP.LHDs working towards implementing HiAP in their jurisdictions can adapt these recommendations and actions to their HiAP efforts.
