This website was developed to provide a wealth of cross-disability information and support to Navigators and other enrollment specialists who help people with disabilities enroll in insurance through the Affordable Care Act Marketplace. Tools provided on this website include state-specific resource guides, webinars, trainings for working with consumers with disabilities, and a disability guide that provides definitions of disability, disability literacy and etiquette training, accessibility awareness, and effective communication strategies. Fact sheets cover such diverse topics as determining Medicaid eligbility, understanding prescription benefits, mental health and substance abuse parity, civil rights of people with disabilities under federal law, and population specific fact sheets (e.g., autism, intellectual disability, mental illness, multiple sclerosis, and veterans).
