This website provides information related to Functional Needs/ Functional Assessment Service Teams (FAST). The resources explain what a FAST team is and provide examples of materials needed to establish a FAST team. FAST teams consist of trained government employees and community-based organization personnel with at least two years of experience working with and assessing the needs of people with access and functional needs. FAST teams are designed to be deployed to disaster work areas and shelters to provide assist emergency response workers in identifying and meeting essential functional needs.
