Disability Alliance BC (formerly BC Coalition of People with Disabilities) is a provincial, cross-disability voice in British Columbia, Canada. Disability Alliance BC's mission is to support people, with all disabilities, to live with dignity, independence and as equal and full participants in the community. Resources provided on this website include a library of videos, workbooks, planning guides, models, trainings, and articles in such areas as money and income supports, health and wellness (including sexual health and HIV/AIDS, disability-specific health, and recreation), emergency preparedness, independent living, personal stories, community resources, and rights, reform, and research. Trainings on creating safe communities and inclusive emergency planning in the community and in the workplace are included. Accessibility: This website is generally screen reader accessible.
