This tool can be used by local health departments to introduce the CMS emergency preparedness rules to Medicare and Medicaid Providers, provide these entities with resources to assist them in meeting the requirements of the rules, and begin establishing relationships with Medicare and Medicaid providers to ensure effective and coordinated preparedness and response activities.
