Domain 9 of the PHAB standards and measures asks health department to document their monitoring of customer satisfaction. King County Local Government created a guide to customer satisfaction that includes guidelines for all local government agencies, including the local public health department. These guidelines are designed to help departments, agencies, and programs focus on customer satisfaction, measure customer satisfaction across programs, use the information gathered to make service delivery improvements, and report to management and the public on progress in better servingand satisfying customers.
