New NACCHO Resource: Comprehensive Cancer Control Screencast
Implementing Comprehensive Cancer Control at the Local Level
Comprehensive cancer control (CCC) is a collaborative process through which a community and its partners pool resources to reduce the burden of cancer. Often, LHDs lead or participate in local-level coalitions/partnerships/or taskforce in their communities as a mechanism for convening local stakeholders to reduce the cancer burden in their jurisdictions. These coalitions serve as a platform for convening influential stakeholders to maximize time, resources, and the manpower needed to sustain the impact of state and local cancer control efforts.
NACCHO's new screencast helps LHDs enhance their cancer prevention efforts at the local level.
