CDC convened its second of four public health preparedness and response partner meetings on November 6. The purpose of the meeting was to provide updates on key preparedness initiatives happening at CDC and the various national association partners, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, Association of Public Health Laboratories, Association of State and Territorial Health Officials, NACCHO, and Trust for America’s Health. Some of the key topics discussed included CDC’s response to Ebola, the transition of the National Health Security Preparedness Index to the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and preliminary results from CDC’s Public Health Emergency Preparedness Impact Assessment.
