NACCHO Website Gets a Fresh Look: Explore the Latest Updates

Apr 17, 2024 | Angie McPherson

We’re thrilled to unveil the latest updates to our website, designed with you—the public health community—in mind.

At the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), our mission is to advance the health of individuals and communities by promoting national policy, developing resources, and providing assistance to local health departments (LHDs) across the United States. With this revamped website, we’re taking a significant step forward in achieving that mission.

Here’s what you can expect from the enhanced NACCHO.org:

  • Updates to the Homepage: The homepage was updated to help you access important content from the main landing page.
  • Streamlined Navigation: We’ve revised our website navigation to make it more streamlined for you to get to content quickly.
  • Blog Landing Pages: The blog homepages – including NACCHO Voice, Stories from the Field, Essential Elements, and the Preparedness Brief – have been revised to make it easier for users to search for content.
  • Press Releases: This webpage template has been updated to match the look and feel of our blogs.
  • All Programs Page: We have a new template to help users see all of our Programs at a glance.

Overall, we’re working to ensure that it’s easier for you to access the content we are creating and for our organization to communicate about our work.

Finally, our team always is on the lookout for new ways to improve the website. As we start planning for the next website project, please feel free to submit your feedback about the current design in this form.

Thank you for your continued support and dedication to advancing public health. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of individuals and communities across the nation.

Stay healthy, stay informed, and stay connected with NACCHO.org!
