STD QCS Planning Toolkit Evaluation
Since the STD QCS Planning Toolkit was released in January 2021, it has been used by many jurisdictions and we want to follow up with jurisdictions that may have used it (or downloaded it to use but have not yet used it) about what its’ usefulness has been and any improvements or modifications that are needed. Please take this short survey to provide feedback on how you may have used the toolkit or why you may not have used it after initial interest.

CDC Publishes Updated Hepatitis B Adult Vaccination Recommendations
On March 31, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention published the updated hepatitis B vaccination recommendations that all adults aged 19 through 59 years receive the hepatitis B vaccine. Adults aged 60 years and older with known risk factors for hepatitis B may also receive the hepatitis B vaccine. CDC continues to recommend hepatitis B vaccination for all infants and unvaccinated children under the age of 19 years. Fully implementing existing and new recommendations can reduce the burden of hepatitis B, while also moving toward elimination of the virus in the United States. The Excel tool can be shared with multiple users to input data for the HIV funding sources they receive, and then combined into one, comprehensive file of all HIV resources in the jurisdiction.
