Highlights: The Massachusetts Health Officers Association Conference brought together over 300 local directors of public health in Massachusetts. During the three-day conference, Justin presented on “Data Visualization for Local Health Departments” and Alyson presented on “Mobile Applications for Local Health Departments.” During the conference, Justin and Alyson met with a number of local health officials to discuss some of their challenges related to the governance structure of local public health in Massachusetts and several challenges about the way that their MRC units are structured.
