NACCHO staff held the MRC Volunteer Core Competencies meeting on December 11-12 in Arlington, VA to review the status of the revised MRC core competencies. Staff also completed reviews for the 2014-2015 NACCHO MRC Awards, and will announce this year’s award winners the first week in January. NACCHO finalized the survey questions for the 2015 Network Profile of the Medical Reserve Corps, and invites all MRC unit leaders to be on the lookout for a survey invitation in January.
Additionally, staff continued work on conference planning and followup, regularly engaged users on MRC Connect, and produced the December “In Touch” newsletter. NACCHO also worked with MRC units involved in the Ebola response to write three stories from the field:
