The MRC Workgroup convened via conference call on Feb. 20. Much of the discussion on this month’s call centered around the upcoming Preparedness Summit and the MRC web and mobile-based application.
Justin Snair, NACCHO Senior Analyst and co-lead for the MRC web and mobile-based application, was able to provide a functional specification update to the workgroup. This discussion generated several follow-up questions for Justin and only builds the anticipation for the live demo taking place at the workgroup’s in-person meeting at the Preparedness Summit. Members from Rallyware will be on site providing the workgroup and other key stakeholders a live look of the feel, functionality, and ease of use of the MRC web and mobile-based application. Along with the MRC web and mobile-based application demo, the workgroup was also invite to participate in the Preparedness Summit Point of Dispensing (POD) Exercise. Several workgroup members will be volunteering their time to fill in key positions during the POD Exercise taking place Wednesday, April 2.
As the workgroup year comes to a close, the MRC workgroup wants to remind readers that NACCHO is currently accepting applications for those interested in joining the MRC Workgroup. For more information about the MRC Workgroup, click here.
