NACCHO Provides Funding to Local Health Departments to Expand Vaccination Coverage through Early Care and Education Programs

The Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health team has selected 14 new local health departments as demonstration sites for the Improving the Health of Young Children: Expanding Vaccination Coverage through Partnerships with Early Care and Education (ECE) Programs initiative, as part of the COVID ECE portfolio. These organizations will implement activities to enhance vaccination coverage in collaboration with ECE programs.

The local health departments that received funding are listed below.

Adams County Health Department - IL

Bear River Health Department – UT

Brazos County Health District – TX

Charles County Department of Health – MD

Cuyahoga County Board of Health – OH

Dallas County Health and Human Services – TX

Harris County Public Health – TX

Hill County Health Department – MT

Linn County Public Health – IA

Long Beach Department of Health and Human Services – CA

Mecklenburg County Health Department – NC

New Philadelphia City Health Department – OH

Niagara County Department of Health – NY

Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department – WA
