Jan 12, 2017 | Kim Rodgers

The statement reinforces vaccine safety, highlights how vaccination prevents illnesses to saves lives and money, and reinforces the importance of educating the public on the benefits of immunization to bolster vaccine confidence. As Dr. Hasbrouck notes, “Thanks to the development of safe and effective vaccines, immunization has been one of the most successful and safest public health measures available to populations worldwide, with an unparalleled record of disease reduction and prevention.”
