The CDC’s Division of Foodborne, Waterborne, and Environmental Diseases recently announced a new webpage and infographic focusing on the investigation of foodborne outbreaks. Both resources highlight the three types of data used by health officials to solve foodborne outbreaks, including epidemiologic, traceback, and food and environmental testing.
