The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Division of State and Local Readiness (DSLR) training team is offering three sessions of an online training course (available in January, February, or March) on the RealOpt computer modeling system. The RealOpt system can help medical countermeasure (MCM) planners design points-of-dispensing (POD) sites and treatment clinics. By attending this three-hour virtual instructor-led training, participants will gain a better understanding of the functions of the RealOpt computer modeling program and its usefulness in validating POD throughput rates and staff resource allocations.
DSLR encourages POD managers, local and state MCM planners, and other preparedness staff to take advantage of this training opportunity by enrolling in one of three available dates through CDC Train (using the links below). Each session is limited to no more than 15 participating sites, so interested staff (especially PHEP awardees) should register as soon as possible.

Registered participants will receive a calendar invite two weeks prior to their selected training session with instructions on logging in to the virtual course and submitting a request for the RealOpt software.
