The Preparedness Planning, Outcomes, and Measures (PPOM) Workgroup held its monthly call on March 28, 2017. Representatives from National Health Security Preparedness Index (NHSPI) made a brief presentation including history and background of the index and provided an update on the newest release of the index. NHSPI also provided information on their Preparedness Innovator Challenge, announced earlier this month. Workgroup members finalized selected updates to Version 8.1 of Project Public Health Ready criteria related to the medical countermeasure dispensing section. This update provides clarity and additional guidance for criteria elements within medical countermeasure dispensing submeasure. The next call is scheduled for May 23, 2017. The April meeting is cancelled due to Preparedness Summit.
