Request for Applications (RFA): Improving the Health of Young Children: Expanding Vaccination Coverage through Partnerships with Early Care and Education Programs

Jan 09, 2024 | Andrea Grenadier

In partnership with CDC, NACCHO is pleased to announce a funding opportunity for local health departments to improve the health of young children by expanding vaccination coverage through partnerships with Early Care and Education (ECE) programs and other stakeholders.

Selected applicants will aim to increase COVID-19 and other ACIP-recommended vaccines for children 0 to 5 years of age by implementing communication and marketing campaigns, community-based programming, and participating in a Community of Practice. Applicants must have a demonstrated desire to partner with ECE programs and other ECE community stakeholders in their jurisdiction to enhance optimal health outcomes for young children.

NACCHO anticipates the awarding of up to fourteen (14) LHDs $120,000 per contract. All necessary information regarding the project scope and application process may be found in the RFA.

To apply, please click here.

Applications are due by January 28, 2024, at 11:59pm PT.
Grantee selections will be made by January 31, 2024.

Applicants may pose individual questions to NACCHO at any point of the application process by e-mailing [email protected].
