NACCHO, in partnership with CDC, is seeking a consultant to create a series of communication products to tell the stories of up to ten local health department (LHD) host sites engaged in the Public Health AmeriCorps (PHA) project. The Public Health AmeriCorps program aims to support the recruitment, training, and development of the next generation of public health leaders who will be ready to respond to the nation’s public health needs. NACCHO supports the engagement of LHDs with the PHA program by providing supplemental training or experiential opportunities and focuses on increasing overall awareness of the PHA program. These communication products will highlight the LHD host sites’ efforts, successes, and lessons learned to both aid local promotion of those efforts and share those products with NACCHO’s broader LHD membership to inform similar efforts.
