The Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) HIV/AIDS Bureau’s (HAB) Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Annual Client-Level Data Report, 2017 is now available on the HAB website.
This publication reflects HRSA HAB’s ongoing commitment to ensuring the availability of timely program information. Through use of this report, our stakeholders and partners can access newly available, national Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) client-level data in a single publication. The report features RWHAP Services Report (RSR) data on all clients served by the RWHAP during calendar years 2013 through 2017.
The publication provides an in-depth look at demographic and socioeconomic factors among clients served, including age, race/ethnicity, transmission risk category, federal poverty level, health care coverage, and housing status. In addition, retention in care and viral suppression data are presented for the overall RWHAP client population receiving medical care, as well as among key priority populations served by RWHAP.
The 2017 report includes several changes from the previous year:
- Table organization: Data tables were organized into defined sections for easier navigation
- Addition of 20 data tables by state and EMA/TGA
- Modifications to Gender data
- Retention in care and viral suppression among young MSM (Tables 15a/b)
