The National Association of County and City Health Officials invites local health department leadership and staff to participate in a webinar, COVID-19 Vaccination Stories from the Field: Local Health Department Practices to Facilitate Equitable Vaccine Distribution and Access. This webinar will feature local health departments discussing their work to identify communities at highest risk for COVID-19 infection and complications and will highlight their best practices and lessons learned in ensuring equitable COVID-19 vaccine distribution within their community. The webinar will take place on Thursday, March 18, 3:00-4:30 pm ET.
The webinar objectives are to:
- Gain insights on the role of local health departments in ensuring equitable COVID-19 vaccine access and distribution;
- Learn how local health departments are using data and community-level partnerships to identify and vaccinate at-risk communities;
- Engage with local health departments on their approach for increasing COVID-19 vaccination coverage.
