With support from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and in partnership with the University of Washington (UW), NACCHO is pleased to announce ‘Advancing Harm Reduction through Data Analysis & Evaluation’ one of two new funding opportunities to promote monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of syringe services programs (SSPs) and support the use of data for SSP program improvement.
NACCHO is seeking a consultant to provide training and technical assistance to 23 program sites via one-on-one and cohort style activities to support the development and implementation of a monitoring and evaluation plan.
Since the initial survey that was sent out through NACCHO’s communication channels in April 2020, NACCHO has conducted two follow-up surveys: one in January of 2021 and another that closed at the end of July 2021.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) researchers are working to provide the science needed to better prepare and respond to outdoor and indoor wildfire smoke.
