Celebrate Children’s Environmental Health Day (CEH Day) with us!
We’re preparing to raise the visibility of children’s health issues and celebrate successes in the field and we hope you’ll join us!
An estimated 34% of children’s chronic illnesses and developmental problems are caused by environmental factors. These harms disproportionately affect children from families with lower incomes, as well as Black, Latinx, Indigenous, and other children of color. The COVID-19 pandemic has increased attention to the role that environmental health plays in preventing disease and has exposed critical gaps in our nation’s ability to protect our most vulnerable. Together, we can create healthier environments and a more equitable future for all children.
Join in for nationwide celebrations! There are so many ways to celebrate children’s environmental health wins from last year, and to take action to protect kids’ health now and moving forward. Learn more, find an event near you, or browse resources to host your own event at: cehday.org
