NACCHO and ChangeLab Solutions invites local health department staff to attend a pilot training introducing concepts in public health law, including a discussion on the newly developed Public Health Competency Model for Attorneys (PHCMA).
NACCHO will award up to $20,000 to hire a consultant to provide subject matter expertise, technical assistance, and strategic planning support to one EHE jurisdiction, and create materials to support widespread scaling of model practices to other jurisdictions around the country.
At the end of the 2020-2021 Immunization Workgroup year, the members reflected and identified key lessons learned through the COVID-19 response. Those lessons learned are highlighted below. We hope these lessons will help inform and guide any future public health emergencies, particularly those requiring vaccinations.
