The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), in advance of National HIV Testing Day (NHTD) (June 27), highlights the important role that local health departments play to increase access and utilization of HIV testing, support their community members living with the virus, and work towards ending the HIV epidemic.
With support from the National Center on Health, Physical Activity, and Disability (NCHPAD), NACCHO is pleased to announce an open funding opportunity for local health departments to include people with disabilities in their community health assessment (CHA) and/or community health improvement plan (CHIP) efforts using the Mobilizing Action through Planning and Partnerships (MAPP) framework.
