The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), the voice of the country’s nearly 3,000 local health departments, with support from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), has selected three local health departments to participate as host sites in Cohort II of the Equipping Local Health Departments to Address Vaccine Hesitancy Project.
NACCHO is continuing to closely monitor the infant formula shortage that is impacting maternal and child health (MCH) populations across the U.S.
The 2021-2022 NACCHO Health & Disability fellows had the opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C. to attend the Disability Policy Seminar 2022, an annual conference co-sponsored by national disability organizations, where attendees receive training and learn about policy updates that impact the rights of people with disabilities.
NACCHO’s Refugees, Immigrants, and Migrants (RIM) health team supports local health departments (LHDs) in strengthening partnerships with local RIM communities to empower innovative and sustainable approaches to prevention and mitigation of COVID-19.
