On July 27, the Senate Appropriations Committee considered the Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies (Labor-HHS) spending bill, which passed out of committee on a bipartisan vote of 26-2.
With Board of Directors' support, the National Association of County and City Health Officials’ Chief Executive Officer, Lori Tremmel Freeman, named Chris Paquet as the organization’s new Chief Operating Officer in the Office of the CEO.
