On July 29, President Biden announced the Back to School Week of Action, from August 7-15. This week is a nationwide mobilization effort to get young people the COVID-19 vaccine before going back to school in the fall.
At the end of the 2020-2021 Immunization Workgroup year, the members reflected and identified key lessons learned through the COVID-19 response. Those lessons learned are highlighted below. We hope these lessons will help inform and guide any future public health emergencies, particularly those requiring vaccinations.
