The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), the voice of the country’s over 3,300 local health departments, will hold the 2024 Preparedness Summit from March 25-28, 2024 in Cleveland, Ohio.
The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted systemic public health workforce issues that existed even before the pandemic, according to a new report from the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO).
In this week’s podcast, the National Association of County and City Health Officials’ Adriane Casalotti, Chief of Government and Public Affairs, and Lauren Mastroberardino, Government Affairs Senior Specialist, provided an update on the debt ceiling, which has been suspended until January 1, 2025, as well as detail on some of the spending limits and claw-backs of previously appropriated funds.
