    “Back2School” Immunization Clinic runs smoothly using Incident Command System

    Working with state and local partners, Dakota County Public Health Department vaccinated 120 students entering 7th through 12th grade to comply with updated Minnesota School Immunization Laws. The clinic was organized utilizing the Incident Command System and demonstrated emergency preparedness capabilities.

    MRC Volunteers Aid in Dallas Ebola Response

    As soon as the first U.S. diagnosed case of Ebola was confirmed, Dallas County Health and Human Services (DCHHS) enlisted support from its team of Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) volunteers. A total of 56 individual members responded to the request to staff the DCHHS Call Center – one important method Dallas County used to respond to the public about Ebola virus disease.
