Columbus Public Health (CPH) is a recipient of the Pool Safety grant from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, which seeks to improve water safety and prevent drownings and drain entrapments in accordance with the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act. In this upcoming MAHC Network webinar, join Austin Sprayberry, REHS on May 29th from 2:00-3:00 PM ET to learn about the water safety issues that Columbus, Ohio faces and how CPH has been able to address these issues, improve drain cover compliance, and establish better community rapport through creativity and residential outreach.

Austin Sprayberry, REHS, Program Manager I, Columbus Public Health, has been working for Columbus Public Health since August of 2020. He started in the Food Protection Program, and since December of 2022, he has been the Program Manager for the CPSC Pool Safely grant.
