This document explores the connections among several performance improvement processes and standards including, Mobilizing for Action through Planning and Partnerships (MAPP), the National Public Health Performance Standards Program (NPHPSP), and the Public Health Accreditation Board's (PHAB's) January 2009 draft accreditation standards. Communities can use this document to plan how best to leverage their MAPP and NPHPSP efforts toward accreditation preparation.
