The Parent-Child Connectedness: New Interventions for Teen Pregnancy Prevention document was developed in response to the overwhelmingly positive health outcomes of parent-child connectedness interventions. This document, developed by ETR Associates, provides background information on some of the studies supporting parent-child connectedness and how it can be applied to teen pregnancy prevention. This document also lists several parent-child connectedness activities that can be adapted for different populations of parents. The activities outlined can be broken up into shorter sessions and can be implemented in a variety of settings.
