The Integrated Epidemiologic Profile for HIV/AIDS Prevention and Care Planning, Philadelphia was released in August 2007 and was developed by the Philadelphia Office of AIDS Planning. The epidemiologic profile includes a thorough analysis of behavioral risk data, sociodemographic indicators of HIV/AIDS and STD infection, substance abuse, and service utilization within Philadelphia and surrounding eligible service areas. This epidemiologic profile serves as an excellent example for local health departments seeking to enhance their existing epidemiologic profiles.
