The Multnomah County Health Department is beta testing Google Voice as their primary method for sending text messages to clients for partner services activities. A key benefit of using Google Voice is that it removes the cost barrier of having to buy and use cell phones. The health department is in the process of finalizing their official procedure for using Google Voice for texting clients for partner services. Please note that this is a DRAFT of the procedure. Once the final version has been completed, it will be made available.
