Nearly 75% of serious injury and premature death in youth is a result of preventable risks. The Rapid Adolescent Prevention Screening (RAAPS) is a standardized, validated youth risk screening and evidence-based health education solution developed to support professionals in reducing the risk factors impacting the health, well-being, and academic success of youth 9-24 years. With only 21 questions, RAAPS can be completed in just 5 minutes and standardization ensures that every youth is screened and provided evidence based health education in the same way every timeregardless of the experience or comfort-level of the professional administering the screeninghelping organizations provide high quality screening and risk reduction coaching on a sustainable scale. Developed in partnership with the American Public Health Association, RAAPS for Public Health (RAAPS-PH) builds on the core 21-question RAAPS assessment, with 11 additional questions capturing the prevalence of social determinants of health (SDOH) that threaten youths health, well-being and progress toward graduation (such as hunger, homelessness, teen pregnancy, and discrimination). The extensive RAAPS reporting suite provides valuable population insight to showcase need and positive outcomes through population-based screening, crucial for applying for or securing funding. Additionally, RAAPS has been recognized by leading health organizations for use as an effective clinical tool for comprehensive adolescent risk screening, including: the US Department of Health and Human Services Office of Adolescent Health (OAH), the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), the Society of Adolescent Health and Medicine (SAHM), the National School Based Health Alliance (SBHA), The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), and the Childrens Hospital Association (CHA) RAAPS for Public Health.
