This tool is two posters produced by the Sudbury & District Health Unit (Canada) on the social determinants of health. The first poster addresses social factors that contribute to health (e.g. sense of belonging, having a living wage job). The second poster encourages individuals to learn about the social determinants of health and listen to members of their community. Each PDF can be printed on 11x14 paper or scaled down to 8.25x11. The Sudbury District Health Unit is part of a provincial network of 36 non-profit public health agencies, funded jointly by local and provincial governments. These health units, together with the Public Health Branch of the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, public health laboratories, and primary health care providers comprise the formal public health system of the province.
