As part of the campaign, OSG and their website partners Institute for Healthcare Improvement and PHFE have developed a digital platform for the campaign. The site features resources for clinician and AND patients, treatment guides. In addition, the Dr. Murthy wanted to give all clinicians an opportunity to show for commitment through the pledge as an act of commitment not only around prescribing but also helping shift the perception of addiction as a chronic illness, not a moral failing. The pledge also tangible signal of awareness and commitment to the opioids issue in the national healthcare community.
