Who is Responsible for Cleaning Activity
This two-page worksheet is designed to clarify roles and responsibilities for both daily and terminal cleaning and disinfection within your facility. For each listed surface or item, participants are asked to indicate with a check or x whether the responsibility falls to Environmental Services (EVS) staff, clinical staff, or other personnel. If a surface or item does not apply to your facility or is not part of daily or terminal cleaning practices, it should be left blank or marked NA (not applicable). Space is provided to add any additional surfaces that require cleaning but are not already listed. Once completed, responses will be used to guide a discussion about any differences in expectations and to ensure alignment and shared understanding of facility cleaning policies and responsibilities.
