In September 2008, NACCHO recognized twenty-five public health programs as model practice award recipients at a reception during the 2008 ASTHO-NACCHO Conference in Sacramento, CA. Photographs from the reception will be available soon. Descriptions of each new model practice can be found here. Past Model and Promising Practices may be found by searching the Model Practice Database. The Model Practice Database The Model Practice Database, is an online, searchable collection of practices across public health areas. This database allows you to benefit from your colleagues' experiences, to learn what works, and to ensure that resources are used wisely on effective programs that have been implemented with good results.
