Jan 26, 2026 | Jaclyn Abramson

NACCHO’s Flexible Local Epidemiology for X-factor Emerging Diseases (FLEXED) Learning Community launched its 2026 programming with an expert-led webinar on February 19 from 1-2:30PM ET, Turning Evidence into Action with Data Communication. Led by NACCHO’s Director of Data Communications, this interactive session explored data visualization, dashboard design, and communication strategies to support rapid public health emergency decision-making.

FLEXED is an open learning community, all NACCHO members are welcome, and no application or prior participation is required to attend webinars or peer learning sessions.

Participants were also invited to a follow-up peer learning hour on February 25 from 1:00-2:00 PM ET to apply concepts, discuss challenges, and learn from peers.
